With all that is happening in our country and our communities, we have decided that our 4th annual Heading Home to Dinner event will be a #Pause4Peace in 2020. We recognize that our friends at Heading Home are at the vulnerable epicenter of the issues surrounding us today – racial inequities, health concerns, education inequities, job loss, illness. Many of us have paused work or shifted priorities but Heading Home has carried on in support of families and individuals tirelessly working to end their homelessness.
Our annual Heading Home to Dinner event provides essential support to Heading Home, and they need us now more than ever. We’ve created a brief video to share with you some of the origins of Heading Home to Dinner, our partnership with Heading Home, and the many ways they’ve been supporting men, women and children experiencing homelessness.
If you are able, we encourage you to make a donation to Heading Home via this link: TO DONATE. Though we are unable to host an event this year, homelessness does not pause in a pandemic; Heading Home clients need our support now more than ever.
Our utmost thanks to the Heading Home to Dinner Committee, the Boston Design Center, and New England Home Magazine – you have made this event what it is and we are so grateful you’ve helped turn our vision into reality. Thank you to our partner restaurants, we know these times have been incredibly difficult for all of us and are thinking of you. To the design community, especially those whose magnificent creativity have made the last 3 years magical, thank you for your friendship and for joining us in support of a great cause.
We are already looking forward to next year – it will be bigger and better than the last!
